Gillian Morden Biography
Presently I am living in Toronto and am a member of The Women’s Art Association of Canada.
My most recent solo exhibition was held there in late March 2017.
Originally, I am from Toronto and studied Art at a number of colleges and universities including Mount Allison, the Banff School of Fine Art, Sheridan College, George Brown College, and the Ontario College of Art.
In my early career the subject matter in my work was representational, but recently I have become more interested in abstracting organic images. Bold colours and high energy in nature fascinate me. Recently downtown Toronto is another inspiration for my artwork.
